Supporting Our Community One Step at a Time
Wesmont Homes is dedicated to building healthy communities. In August of 2015, Wesmont Homes was asked to participate in a complete renovation for Nightshift Street Ministries. A community outreach organization providing hope to people in need, NightShift required much needed space for counseling, admin offices and more. A registered not-for-profit society, NightShift Street Ministries is an outreach non-profit organization that has a volunteer base of more than 2,500 individuals, including community groups and church teams. Nightly outreach happens 365 days a year offering meals, clothing, crisis counselling, basic nursing, a mobile library, prayer and loving community contact. The continuum of care includes ongoing, registered Christian counselling with sliding-scale fees, men’s and women’s support groups, Bible studies, extreme weather response, a clothing ministry (Sisters Thrift Boutique) and much more.
With likeminded others, Wesmont donated 6 key tradespeople, materials and project supervisors for three weeks to build three new offices, a boardroom, and a complete storage unit. Members participated after a full day of work with great results.
We are excited to talk with you! Let’s discuss your project and assess the various options that are available to your family.
